We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
Data we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect:
- Your name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Postcode
- The service you're interested in, and any message you write
- Technical details sent with the form: the page you were on, and any advert tracking codes in the link you followed
If you accept cookies, Microsoft Clarity also records how you use the site, such as clicks, scrolling and the device you use. It does not record what you type into the form.
Lawful basis
We use your enquiry details because you asked us to contact you about a quote or a job (steps taken at your request before entering a contract). We use analytics only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
How we use and store your data
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a quote and carry out any work you book. We keep general enquiries for 12 months, then delete them. If you become a customer, we keep job and invoice records for as long as the law requires (usually 6 years). We never sell your data.
Third-party processors
We use these services to run the website and handle enquiries:
- Cloudflare: website hosting and security
- GoHighLevel: receives and stores enquiries so we can reply
- Microsoft Clarity: anonymous site usage analytics, only if you accept cookies
- Google Maps: shows our area map, only if you click "Show map"
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Marketing and opting out
We only contact you about your enquiry or job. We won't send marketing unless you agree to it. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing us or replying STOP to any message.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Object to or restrict how we use it
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
- Ask for your data in a portable format
